Strategic War Games
SWG are turn-based games in which players control units and make strategic and tactical decisions to defeat one or more enemies. Throughout the course of the game a player generally has to make decisions about gathering resources, building bases and units, doing research, and developing new technology. They must also direct offensive and defensive actions. Players may be affected by economics, resource depletion, and other outside influences that can affect the actual battle. Some actions may require multiple turns to complete, so players need to consider what order to make orders in to get the best use of their time. After each player takes their turn, the state of the game may change as a results of previous actions taken by any of the players.
